The conservation team continued work in the Hama Museum on painted fragments of Mithreum decoration transferred there in previous seasons and mounted on a new support. Two new panels of different sizes, one showing a peacock and the other a fragment of floral ceiling decoration, joined the permanent exhibition in the Museum.

Dobrochna Zielińska, the author of a virtual reconstruction of the painted decoration, completed documentation for a temporary exhibition proposal for the Museum: “Last Masterpieces of Ancient Painters”, to be shown in 2012 in Warsaw and Hama.
