It was a study season, without excavations. The work included the preparation of a new scenario for the exhibition in Aleppo Museum showing the results of the Syrian–Polish excavations on the Protoneolithic and Pre-pottery Neolithic settlement in Tell Qaramel. Another task was processing of archaeological materials discovered in the previous seasons, including flint and obsidian finds, as well as Early Bronze Age pottery. Steps were also taken to develop a site preservation and management project.
