- Description: The subject of the course is advanced documentation methods belonging to a relatively new and currently widely developed and popular specialisation among many researchers – digital archaeology. Digital archaeology generally involves the implementation of modern technologies and tools in field and laboratory research to increase the accuracy and quantity of information while speeding up data collection.

- Description: This course will explore the archaeological evidence of Islamic North Africa from the advent of Islam to the Ottoman era. Our focus will be on the region’s internal dynamics, transformations, and external interactions. Within a broader historical context, we will examine the material culture, urban development, religious, military, and civil architecture, as well as trade networks and interconnections. The course will emphasize the intricate and far-reaching relationships that characterized North Africa and the Mediterranean during this period. Students will explore how Islamic civilization shaped and was shaped by North African societies, with a focus on key archaeological sites and artifacts

[PL] “Archeologia domostwa – ludzie, rzeczy i ich relacje”
