Department of Middle East Studies

The Department of Middle East Studies is engaged with scientific research based on the results of fieldwork, laboratory and archival-library studies in the field of archaeology, history, conservation and related sciences concerning the areas of cultures and civilizations developing in Trans-Caucasia, the Tigris and Euphrates basins, the Iranian Plateau and the Arabian Peninsula.
