The Department of Levantine Studies is concerned with scientific research based on the results of fieldwork, laboratory and archival-library studies in the field of archaeology, history, conservation and related sciences concerning the areas of cultures and civilizations developing in Asia Minor, Syro-Palestine and Cyprus.
