With sadness, we received the news of the passing of Beata Madaj, a long-time employee of the Polish Centre of Mediterranean Archaeology, University of Warsaw. She had been working at the University of Warsaw for three decades.
In 2001, she transferred to the PCMA administration from the University of Warsaw Bursary. At the PCMA, she handled the accounts of archaeological expeditions, efficiently and with a sense of humor dealing with the, often complex, financial documents.
The funeral Mass will be held on 21st June at 10:00 am, at St. Gregory’s Church in Wolski Cemetery in Warsaw (180/182 Wolska st). The burial will take place at Wolski Cemetery (plot 63-4-22).
