Call for Papers: Polish Archaeology in the Mediterranean 32 (2023)

The editors of the journal “Polish Archaeology in the Mediterranean” would like to remind you that the call for papers for the upcoming issue is underway. To have your article published in 2023 in the 32nd volume of PAM, you should submit it before the end of May this year. Texts submitted after this date will be included in a subsequent volume.

The annual Polish Archaeology in the Mediterranean, regardless of its title, is no longer limited to presenting the results of Polish research in the Mediterranean region. It publishes articles on a wide range of topics, from the results of archaeological, geophysical, conservation and restoration work to extended research papers in these fields. Its territorial scope covers broadly defined Middle East, including the Arabian Peninsula and the Caucasus, as well as northern and northeastern Africa (read more).

The journal, published by University of Warsaw Press, is indexed in the Scopus database and is included in the Ministry of Education and Science, Poland, list of ranked journals (100 points). All articles are published in open access.

Manuscripts prepared according to the guidelines available in the Instructions for PAM contributors tab on the journal’s website should be submitted using the editorial portal available at www.pam-journal.uw.edu.pl . All articles accepted by the editors will go through the peer-review process. The editors also welcome submissions of book reviews.

PAM 32 will also include a thematic fascicle: “Marble use, trade and distribution in the Eastern Mediterranean during the Late Antiquity,” edited by Mariusz Gwiazda, Alessandro Poggio and Dagmara Wielgosz-Rondolino.
