Dr Piotr Zakrzewski has been awarded a micro-grant from the University of Warsaw program “Initiative for Excellence – Research University” (IDUB). He will attend the XXVth Congress of Roman Frontier Studies (LIMES Congress) in Nijmegen on 21st-27th August 2022.
Several PCMA UW scholars have already taken advantage of funding opportunities in this program in 2022. Dr. Emilia Smagur received a minigrant to attend the European Association of South Asian Archaeology conference in Barcelona. An IDUB minigrant also funded Dr. Tomomi Fushiya’s research on the emotional role of archaeology, as well as Open Access for Dr. Robert Stark’s article in Archaeometry (doi.org/10.1111/arcm.12674).
