Call for papers: Registration for the 15th International Conference for Nubian Studies has started.
Scholars are welcome to submit proposals for papers or posters, or to sign up for workshops, using the registration form. The deadline for submitting paper proposals is 31 March 2022.
Every four years the International Conference for Nubian Studies brings together archaeologists, epigraphists, historians, and other scholars working on the ancient and modern history of Sudan and Nubia. The Polish Centre of Mediterranean Archaeology will host the upcoming 15th ICNS which will be held in Warsaw from August 29th to September 4th, 2022.

In the Third Circular in addition to the invitation to registration, there is a proposal to put together an exhibition at the upcoming conference: As the ISNS will be celebrating its 50th anniversary, we would like to reminisce about the Society’s earlier gatherings held since the first congress in Warsaw in 1972. If you have photos from the previous congresses or would like to share other interesting souvenirs and memories, please send them to us by e-mail. We will compile them into an exhibition that will be a trip down memory lane.
