The PCMA UW team visited the European Center for Geological Education of the University of Warsaw in Chęciny. It was an opportunity for the team of several dozen people to get to know each other better and also to present their scientific backgrounds, research interests and projects to their colleagues. This will help the staff form new internal research groups around common research topics.
Although many of the staff are involved in the same research projects, not everyone has so far had the opportunity to learn what colleagues from other expeditions and specializations are working on. During the trip, everyone had the chance to present their individual research to the whole PCMA UW staff.
Regardless of scientific specialization, all employees have daily contact with the PCMA UW administration department. The trip was an excellent opportunity to express appreciation and thanks to the administration team for their friendly and efficient work.
