Voices from the Nile Valley at the 27th Congress of Papyrology

An exhibition “Voices from the Nile Valley. Polish Archaeology between Alexandria and Dongola” will accompany the 27th International Congress of Archaeology, held at the University of Warsaw. The thirteen archaeological sites in Egypt and Sudan presented in the exhibition, all investigated by missions from the Polish Centre of Mediterranean Archaeology, yielded epigraphical finds which are discussed in the displays alongside information on the history and archaeology of the sites themselves.

The exhibition, co-organized by the PCMA and the Congress organizers, will show in the Kazimierzowski Palace at the University of Warsaw’s main campus), ul. Krakowskie Przedmieście 26/28 from 29 July till 14 August 2013 r.
