A bi-annual conference on latest developments in the field of archaeological prospection will be held in Warsaw this September. It is co-organized by the PCMA, the Institute of Archaeology and Ethnology of the Polish Academy of Sciences, Scientific Association of Polish Archaeologists and International Society for Archaeological Prospection.
The 11th International Conference on Archaeological Prospection will focus on the importance of archaeological feedback, which will be the subject of a special, open-door session.
All presentations will be grouped in the following sessions:
1. Interpretation and presentation of prospection results
2. Integrated prospection approaches
3. Processing and visualisation of data
4. GIS and prospection
5. Archaeological feedback
6. Archaeological feedback – open-door session*
7. Technical aspects
8. History of archaeological geophysics
The event will take place from the 15th to the 19th September 2015. The conference will be hosted by the University of Warsaw, with special events taking place in Copernicus Science Center and Museum of King Jan III’s Palace at Wilanow.
