Specialists representing the Polish Centre of Mediterranean Archaeology, University of Warsaw have just returned from Palmyra (Syria). They were there on a reconnesaince to assess the damage to ancient monuments, especially those once excavated and conserved by a Polish archaeological mission.
They will relate their experience during a press conference which will be held at the University of Warsaw on Wednesday, 20th April at 12 o’clock.
