The annual archaeological conference “Poles on the Nile” will be held on 21st–23rd June 2021. Due to the pandemic situation, last year’s edition had to be cancelled. For the same reasons, the organizers: the Department of Archaeology of Egypt and Nubia, Faculty of Archaeology of the University of Warsaw and the Polish Centre of Mediterranean Archaeology of the University of Warsaw, decided to hold this year’s event online.
The conference will gather presentations on the results of the latest research by Polish archaeological expeditions and conservation projects working in Egypt, Sudan and Ethiopia. Information about the fieldwork that took place in each season is presented on the website www.polacynadnilem.uw.edu.pl (in Polish).
