Już dziś, 4.05.2016 rozpoczyna się w Krakowie 17 międzynarodowa konferencja Current Research in Egyptology. Gospodarzem krakowskiej odsłony CRE będzie Instytut Archeologii Uniwersytetu Jagiellońskiego, zaś wśród współorganizatorów jest Centrum Archeologii Śródziemnomorskiej UW oraz Ośrodek Badań nad Antykiem Europy Południowo-Wschodniej UW, Koło Naukowe Starożytnego Egiptu “Kemet”, UW i Sekcja Egiptologii w Zakładzie Wschodu Starożytnego UW.
Wykłady inauguracyjne wygłoszą prof. Krzysztof M. Ciałowicz, dyrektor IA UJ, oraz dr hab. Tomasz Waliszewski, dyrektor CAŚ UW.
Szczególnie polecamy wystąpienia naszych pracowników, współpracowników i stypendystów, którzy opowiedzą o wynikach swoich badań w misjach organizowanych i współorganizowanych przez Centrum.
